Bonsoir 2011!!

We sat down to compile a list of all the events, shows, and antics that occurred in the tent over the last year.  After creating an exhaustive list, one thing became abundantly clear:

2011 was a crazy year for the circus!

And that is saying something!  Aside from our delightful dinner shows, we had a plethora of Big Top Rock concerts and carnivals, 12 saucy late-night Mezzo Lunatico shows, many circus camps, a Francine Reed concert, our Third Annual Gala, and so much more!

Hold on…

Sorry, our fingers cramped from all that typing.

Whew.  Okay…

After tallying everything up we put on over 300 show, led 12 camps, and had more than 70,000 guests – all under the big top. Antics and shenanigans count exceeded 10 million.

Revisit these wonderful memories in the slide show below and happy 2012!!!

Sunday, November 7, 2011, Teatro ZinZanni goers put on their swanky attire and gave generously to support the ZinZanni Institute for the Circus Arts (ZICA).  It was an evening of auctioning and magic as guests were astounded by performances from Bonsoir Liliane! cast members and former summer camp attendees.  Francine Reed had the tent on its feet, dancing in the aisles to “Wild Women Don’t Get the Blues”.  Auctioneer Kevin Joyce had attendees in furious bidding wars during the live auction and encouraging guests to dig deep during the raise the paddle.  Moving speeches were made, an auction was had, and ZICA raised money.  A HUGE thank you to all attendees.  We couldn’t do it without your support!

Camp ZinZanni 2010

Throughout the 2010 summer, various clown, acrobatic, and miming camps have been going strong at Teatro ZinZanni for agest 5-8 and 9-16. This video covers the first two weeks of camp (Acrobalance + Clowning, and Clown Crash-Course). The campers work hard to learn the basics of clowning, magic, and acrobatics with professional performers guiding them along the way (such as Peter Pitofsky, Genvieve Landry, and Brandon Rabe), and on the final day, the campers perform what they have learned in front of family and friends
